My name is Carla, and I am the maker of Fleur de Peau. I am originally from France (hence the French brand name) and currently work from my home studio in Brooklyn, NY.

I have a background in fine arts, more specifically painting. During my graduate studies, I discovered jewelry making as a complementary practice. Since then, I have loved creating an imaginary world where metal botanicals coexist.

I am particularly drawn to plants with an otherworldly and mysterious presence. Each piece of jewelry is part of this strange garden, where flowers are not fragile and fleeting, but strong and everlasting.
